libytnef0-dev software package provides improved decoder for application/ms-tnef attachments, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libytnef0-dev
libytnef0-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libytnef0-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libytnef0-dev *
You will get with libytnef0-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
